The Spanish international achieved this landmark during a recent Premier League fixture, becoming the 244th player in Chelsea's illustrious history—and the 21st goalkeeper—to reach a century of appearances since the club's formation in 1905.

Sánchez joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2023 for an initial £20 million fee (plus add-ons) and quickly established himself as a key figure between the posts. Wearing the iconic No.1 shirt, he has brought commanding presence, excellent distribution, and shot-stopping ability to the team.

In his 100 outings across all competitions, Sánchez has recorded an impressive tally of clean sheets—including 22 in the Premier League alone—while contributing to major honours such as the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League triumphs under the current regime.
